What's included with every garage door panel replacement

  • Single-section & multi-panel replacements
  • Bottom panel replacement (most common impact damage)
  • Color & texture matching to existing door
  • Same-day panel swap when part is in-stock
  • Full door replacement when matching panels unavailable
  • 1-year labor warranty on all panel work

When to replace a garage door panel vs the entire door

Panel replacement is the right call when: (1) damage is limited to one or two sections, (2) the matching panel style and color is still available from the manufacturer, and (3) the door structure — springs, tracks, and frame — is still in sound condition. If the manufacturer has discontinued your door's panel design, or if multiple sections are damaged, a full door replacement may cost the same or less than sourcing discontinued parts.

We'll give you an honest assessment on the first call. If replacement panels aren't available for your door, we'll quote a matching full door replacement instead — same material, same color family, comparable profile.

Bottom panel replacement

The bottom panel takes the most abuse — car bumpers, bike impacts, lawn equipment, and water damage all concentrate there. Bottom panel replacements are the most common panel call we receive. In many cases the bottom section can be swapped in under 2 hours. We also carry bottom weather seal replacement parts and can swap the seal at the same visit.

Hurricane-rated panel replacements for HVHZ homes

If your South Florida home is inside the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (all of Broward and Miami-Dade), the replacement panel must match the door's existing wind rating or you'll be out of compliance. We carry HVHZ-rated panels from CHI, Clopay, Amarr, and Wayne Dalton for the most common South Florida door sizes.

Color and texture matching

Garage door panels fade over time. If the new section is noticeably brighter than the rest of the door, we can source a panel from the same manufacturing batch when available, or quote painting the affected sections to match. We'll show you both options before you commit.

When we recommend a full door replacement instead

  • Manufacturer has discontinued your panel design (no match available)
  • More than 3 sections are damaged
  • The door's structural components (springs, tracks, frame) also need work — replacing at the same time saves a second labor cost
  • Your door pre-dates HVHZ compliance (pre-2002 installations in HVHZ zones)
